A young man has been seriously injured in a collision with a car in north Staffordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of the A525 and Keele Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme at 2.10am today.
Three rapid response vehicles, driven by a paramedic, a paramedic area support officer and a BASICS Emergency Doctor attended along with an ambulance crew. An ambulance crew from the North West Ambulance Service that was in the area stopped to help.

A motorcyclist has been injured in a collision with a bus in north Staffordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Potteries Way, Hanley at 9.20pm last night (Wednesday).
A BASICS Emergency Doctor in a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.

Three people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Staffordshire yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the incident in Highwood, Uttoxeter at approximately 9.45pm last night.
Three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer and a BASIS Doctor were dispatched to the scene.

A woman has escaped serious injury despite her car ending up on its side on a crash barrier of a busy dual carraigewayin Staffordshire.
The crash happened on the A500 at Wolstanton, Newcastle at about 6.30am this morning (Tuesday).
An ambulance, a paramedic officer and a BASICS Doctor who was returning home after a medical case attended the scene.
