Car down embankment in Staffordshire

Four people have had a remarkable escape after the car they were in left the road and ended up 60 – 70 yards away down an embankment.

The incident happened at around 5.10am (Tuesday) on the A523 near Lake View Garage, Rudyard, to the north of Leek.

A man has been taken to hospital following an incident in Staffordshire today.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Longton Road in Stone at approximately 2.55pm this afternoon.

An ambulance, a paramedic area support officer and a BASICS Doctor were dispatched to the scene.
