Three people have been treated by ambulance crews following a fire in Stoke this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to premises in High Street, Rookery at around 3.45am.

Woman cut free from wreckage of car

A woman has been taken to hospital in Stoke by ambulance after being cut free from the wreckage of the car she was in.

The woman driving on the A500, close to the junction with the A34 when the car was in collision with a Land Rover with a trailer and a lorry.

Overturned car on southbound M6

One man has been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after the car he was driving crashed on the M6 in Staffordshire earlier today (Wednesday).

The incident happened at around 1.30pm on the southbound carriageway about half a mile from junction 14.

Two airlifted following RTC

Two men have been airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision in Staffordshire this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the incident near to Gateham Grange in Alstonefield, Ashbourne at approximately 11.25am this morning.
