Death on railway line in Stoke on Trent

A man has died after being struck by a train in the Stoke on Trent area.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at just before 9.50am on Wednesday morning to a location just south of Wedge Wood Railway Station, Wedgwood Drive in the Barlaston area.

Cyclist seriously injured

A cyclist has been seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Staffordshire today.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A34 Yarlet Bank in Stafford at approximately 6.35am this morning.

Four Injured in Stafford Crash

Four people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision near Stafford this evening. West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Weston Bank at approximately 6.20pm.

Two ambulances, two paramedics in rapid response vehicles; a paramedic officer; a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance based at Tatenhill were sent to the scene.

Youngster airlifted from Cannock

A young boy has been airlifted to hospital after being in collision with a small van in Staffordshire.

The incident happened in Benion Road in the Chadsmoor area of Cannock at around 6.15pm this evening.
